Chronic Diseases Diagnosed After Discharge
If any of the following chronic diseases are manifest to 10% or moreย within the first yearย (there are a few exceptions noted below) after a vet is discharged from the military, then they are automatically considered caused by military service and eligible for VA Disability.
The term โchronicโ is used loosely here. Any of these diseases will be consideredย Chronicย unless it was suddenly caused by something clearly not related to military service.
